MISS USA 2014 - FINAL PREDICTIONS

SO! This is it guys! Tomorrow's the final night of Miss USA and here's my final prediction!!! I am so sad I am unable to watch it live because I live outside USA (Indonesia, to be exact) hence no NBC will be showing all the way here! I will try, with all my heart, to not get Miss USA's updates before I am able to download it from the torrent so that I am able to watch it with a high suspense level!  Hence yes, that means my blog will update way later than the final telecast.

TOP 20 (in random order):

20. MINNESOTA

She’s actually a pretty girl. However, my MAIN problem with this chick is that she’s trying to hard in literally, every single picture of her. It really bothers me. The only thing that saved her is probably her body.

19. TEXAS

I think she has grown on me a little bit. I used to think she was really plain but her recent pictures got me noticed. The problem is sometimes she got me noticed in a good way, sometimes in a bad way.

18. LOUISIANA

The home state picked a decent girl at this year’s pageant but I think she is kinda overrated. She seems interesting but I feel like she has so much pressure on her (being the home state girl) and she seems like a little unsure of herself. She did bring it at the preliminaries but I don’t think blue was the perfect color for her AND that dress made her look like she’s 7 months pregnant.

17. NEBRASKA

She’s been okay, never in the dangerous zone but never been in the gorgeous zone. I thought her preliminary performance was good and it really helped her to advance to the top 20.

16. PENNSYLVANIA

This girl is smart for picking that black gown. It saved her ass, really. If she wore a tacky dress, don’t even think that top 20 is possible. My concern with her is that she is inconsistent in the pictures. There are some good ones, there are some that made her look like she’s bordering……. 50.

15. IDAHO

I placed her here because of her performance and she seems to be a sweet girl. Yes, she may not be the most gorgeous one, but she killed the stage at the preliminary. Well done, Idaho.

14. DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA

She was one of my favorites until she came to Bayou. She proves herself to not deserve that high of a placement day by day. Her dress at the prelims was okay, but not liking her hairdo. I am bothered that she is short and picking that dress made her look even shorter (at least to me).

13. WISCONSIN

Her case is similar to Miss DC, but my main problem with her is her make up.  She often put too much make up, to the point where I can see some difference in the color of her face and neck. That’s not a good thing. She picked a nice dress but I don’t like her hairdo. But otherwise, she did okay. I expected much more from her.

12. COLORADO

The only thing I like about her is just her dress. Other than that, she has been pretty plain. She better thanking her Greek Goddess dress.

11. OKLAHOMA

She is so pretty! I just don’t feel like she is ready for such a heavy title as Miss USA. She seems like one of those pretty country girls. I need that extra oomph from her so that people will go oomph yes! (Not in that way!)

TOP 10 (in random order):

10. KENTUCKY

She is pretty, sweet and adorable. I love this girl’s wardrobe. I actually first noticed her when she wore a super fancy handbag (Is it Celine?). That thing cost a fortune (or unless she bought the fake one in Kentucky’s local Chinatown) But anyways, it’s not important how it’s dangling from her arm, but what’s important is that she is aware of what she’s doing and not afraid to put anything into this competition. that’s a good sign. The dress is also pretty and most importantly, ORIGINAL. Too many recycled dresses this year, I wanna barf.

9. SOUTH CAROLINA

This six-foot tall young lady is always fun, relaxed and effortless. I love that about her. My concern is that this blonde bombshell fades in the background. She needs to step up her game and at least glow in between the other blondies. Right now, she screams, “typical blonde girl”.

8. IOWA

I think she is in it to win it. She’s putting a lot of effort into this pageant and I love that about her. I am pretty sure from the pictures that she’s the girl with the most suitcases going to this pageant. And surprisingly, she has always been on-point. If she makes it to the top 5 I’m not surprised, but if she didn’t make the cut, I’m also not surprised. I haven’t heard that much buzz on her.

7. GEORGIA

Definitely the best African American contestant we have this year. She is so cute in her wardrobe and always looks happy in candid pictures but fierce in the official photos. I don’t know if I would place her in the top 5 because I feel like other girls can still compete with Miss Georgia.

TOP 6:

5^TH RUNNER UP

ALABAMA

Always been a favorite of mine since the first day. But what I saw was her headshot, never full body. Her arms need to lose some kgs,  and she needs to be feeling like a diamond for us to see her sparkle. Because right now, she is drowning, wearing that ugly black dress at the prelims. I really hope she changes her dress on final night so that she can advance highly. Otherwise, her slot will be taken by some other pretty lady with GORGEOUS dress.

4^TH RUNNER UP:

ARKANSAS

She’s pretty and I am noticing that fire inside of her. She is a lion by heart and ready to eat out her competitor. One thing though, before going to Bayou, she stopped by at a local store last minute and bought that ugly dress. I mean what is up with that dress?!?!? That is super-duper ugly. Same case like Alabama, her placement will vary based on her dress. On the positive note, her body is absolutely amazing. Best body at this batch.

3^RD RUNNER UP:

NEVADA

I am heart-broken to put her as my 3^rd runner up but the fault is at the yellow dress. She has always been strong in every single area in this competition EXCEPT the EG at prelims, unfortunately. If she had worn a fabulous dress, she’d be my winner already.

2^ND RUNNER UP

FLORIDA

I love her prior to coming to Baton Rouge, but unfortunately she hasn’t shined the way I expected her to do. I do think that she possess this absolutely sexy body. I saw her previous experience at Miam Fashion Week or something, her catwalk IS ON FIRE. I am expecting that same energy at the Miss USA stage. Good luck!

1^ST RUNNER UP

MARYLAND

Actually she can be the winner too, I don’t mind. This girl can make so many men shake their knees when seeing her, make them cry too, I think. She exudes this hotness in her that I think none of these girls possess. Only she owns it. Her face is so expensive that I am pretty sure billionaires would go crazy when looking at her. I am so glad she changed her dress at prelims because it was gorgeous! She sparkles the way 100 dollar bill to my eyes haha! I am so rooting for this girl!

MISS USA 2014

NORTH DAKOTA

It’s time to see North Dakota up there than being just a background. I am so glad North Dakota finally got it “right”. I am so in love with her face, it’s so soft yet sexy. She just need to work on her sexiness to wow the judges at the final night. Other than that, I am so ready to have her as our new Miss USA 2014.

Okay guys, that’s my FINAL prediction. I am so stoked for tomorrow!!!!!!!
