MISS USA 2014 - RUN THROUGH 1
YES!!!!! Finally got to download the full torrent file of Miss USA 2014! I am so so stoked for this and let's jump right in!
The opening was rather tensed and more serious but I really dig it! They were----really----building up the tension here, for sure! And my.. oh.. my.. the 2 hosts looked so hot!!! both Thomas and Giuliana looked absolutely red-carpet ready, they really shined!!! Giuliana (who actually competed in Miss Maryland USA before) looked very gorgeous from head to toe, definitely! That straight hair is making an impact, for suaaaa! And what a crowd they had! It looked super fun, and I'm telling you, one day, I will be reporting from the audience seat. ONE DAY. This is so cool, guys, because I have never felt more excited than this! Not even Miss Universe! Wow, Baton Rouge!!!
The music is decent, very Southern-style, I thought it was okay. I did LOVE the native american dancers.
The contestants came out. I do think it was a nice change with the masks, but the girls looked awkward with their props. They were dancing and lifting up the masks, pretending to have fun. Their walk messed up lols
A lot of the girls screamed. I hate that. I loved Nevada's best. Maryland, god bless you, child. You were supposed to take that mask off so everyone can see your pretty face. Well I hate to say this, she looked like a fool. (I love her though). Georgia was good too, but I was surprised to know she's 27! She really looks 22 to me! Nice red lipstick, gurl.
I don't like the way they divide the groups. Wasting time that was not needed.
I love the judges introduction. Nice change.
Okay, let's get into the top 20! (btw, when Jeannie's time was up, she was still styled so not ready, it was funny)
LOVE the format. Every semi-finalists get a short clip of her life before the pageant and her family. Very sweet. I will commenting on each video.
VIRGINIA. She was a super shock to me. She is plain, and her body is not nice. I wonder how she could pass the preliminary competition. Wrestler, no wonder. The video was okay-ish. The ONLY thing I liked was the cinematography of the video lol not even the girl.
NORTH DAKOTA. Pretty girl but turns out annoying speaker. I really don't like they way she talks, sounds very american teen girls, no grace. No wonder she was bullied... oops. I am just joking. I love her still.
GEORGIA. I must say she and Miss Nevada looked the prettiest. OMG that red lipstick is to die for! Plus, her 50's hairstyle is so working. Glad she was in. In the video, you can tell she's a rich girl. Seems spoiled a little bit but I don't mind her being our Miss USA.
INDIANA. Intersting to know that she has native american blood in her but a very plain girl.
------ERIN BRADY WALKS IN. SLIPPED A BIT. KEPT ON WALKING------
Pretty and a great great speaker. Not like Olivia. She was horrible at announcing who the Miss Photogenic was last year.
The video of the family of the contestants was the cutest. I teared! I really did! The most touching was Miss West Virginia's best friend video. That really teared me up.
TENNESSEE. Shock!!! She screams porn star to me actually. At 29:50 (according to my file) her butt looked INCREDIBLE. Amazing butt.
FLORIDA. Great to see her dad's story. Was very touching and I knew she would make it.
CALIFORNIA. I thought her video was confusing. Didn't expect her to be a ballerina though.
MUSIC VIDEO alongside clips from their Southern FUN! Great video! Good job, Baton Rouge for being an incredible host.
ALABAMA. Why does she look frightened? She looked uncomfortable throughout. Her video was not memorable.
NEVADA. This chick is great. In to win it! Her walk seems flirtatious but seemed rehearsed to me. I'd like a more relaxed catlwalk. Video of her taekwondo was GREAT!
ARIZONA. Boring pageant-betty girl. Shocked to see her as the semifinalist.
MARYLAND. Great girl!!! But I noticed, in the video, wrong make-up! The part below her eyes seemed green, she looked like a zombie!
MINNESOTA. This is a video with an impact for me. Her first outfit on the boat was great and I was shocked to see her in her lab outfit. She gained some points in being smart and especially with her mom, she really evolved! in a good way! She looked like Angelina Jolie.
WINNING REACTION BACKSTAGE WITH JEANNIE MAI... The best was Maryland hahahaha
OKLAHOMA. She looked a little fat here but she was defending peole who are home-schooling and it's actually great! Good point on being closer with your family.
NEW JERSEY. MY HOME STATE!!! She's tricky. In some she is pretty in some not really. Unfortuantely on final night she didn't look that pretty. Cool mix racial family story.
LOUISIANA. Her video was simply THE BEST! Adore her outfit with the flowery hot pants. She's really pretty. I was wrong about her. I wanted her to win Miss USA actually.
IOWA. Miss good genes! Her brothers uhm--excuse me one minute--are so hot. Well okay, going back to her. She is really pretty too!!!
NEBRASKA. She didn't look so pretty that night :(
WISCONSIN. Her reaction hahaha was so funny. I can tell she's so hyped about this. Great background story but you can tell she lost some serious weight. Well done.
PENNSYLVANIA. Inspirational story. It was very touching! Love seeing her in the top 20.
SOUTH CAROLINA. She also looked super pretty in her video. Great outfit.
That's the top 20 y'all!!! One note: I am not loiking the way the cut into several parts! Make it two parts is okay but dividing it into 5 is just confusing. It also forced the hosts to keep on saying Florida Georgia Line over and over and over.
I am super tired and I have to wake up early at 5 in the morning because I am going away for travelling. See you in the next part in a few days guys! xo
