I've said this so many times, but I love her. She was not the prettiest on that stage last year, but she proves to be the deserving queen we all know. I think she is a super sweet girl, who is smart and the most real, at least to me. I find interviews with her interesting. I look up to her a lot and she really inspired me. A look back to the year with our amazing Miss USA 2013 - Erin Brady.

What I want to tell you is that Miss Universe or any beauty pageant isn't all about beauty after all. Erin Brady has left an amazing path for other Miss USAs to come and she showed that it doesn't require the physical beauty. Yes, it played some parts but CHARACTER is what's gonna get you far in life, or in beauty pageant, of course. :) You can be the prettiest but if you're horrible at work (ehm..... Oxana) you'll be FIRED (as what Mr. Donald Trump would usually say).
I want the beauty contests' contestants to realize that being beautiful in the inside is more important than getting your abs done. Being Miss Universe is much more than just knowing how to put on the perfect make-up in 30 minutes (your make-up artist will do that for you). It's about being a woman that many people across this globe can look up to.
Well done, Erin. Because I look up to you.
