Final Prediction
One of the most memorable edition of Miss USA undoubtedly :) I am bittersweet that the final telecast is about to start in just a few hours..... I have enjoyed my time scrolling down my instagram feed to find out what is up with the pageant and all.... This year there are a few standouts that it's almost hard to choose the top but this is my top contestants beginning from the top 15:
Kentucky - She's an all-american girl and although I find her face very typical american girl but I have grown to love her. I have seen her improve throughout the two weeks and her preliminary performance was decent. I am definitely not surprised if she makes it, but I don't think she can advance anywhere more than the top 15.
Florida - Well I was quite surprised by my own choice but I feel like I have been pleasantly surprised by her. I think she's a nice girl that is a little inconsistent. I am just worried that the other girls would outshine her. But I think her preliminary performance locked herself a top 15 placement (well I could be wrong)
Distrct of Columbia - Watching her video was a pleasure. Who would've thought this airhead-looking-girl would work in the senate committee? It was wrong of me to judge her so quickly but I am quite pleased by her. I thought she has been pretty consistent over the past two weeks, except her preliminary that I thought was lackluster.
Hawaii - Aloha, Emma! This girl's fashion sense is definitely a pleasure to follow. I have been in love with every single outfit she's been wearing, except one thing: her evening gown. I mean what on earth was that jumpsuit doing?
Texas - Pretty girl but I have not gone crazy over her... But that turned when I saw the evening gown... She looked exquisite!
TOP 10:
Louisiana - I mean she's a shoo-in just because she's representing Louisiana... She has been consistent but one of her drawbacks is her height! Thank god for a good preliminary performance!
Virginia - I never noticed this girl until she slayed her glamshot! I was pleasantly surprised and since then I have been following her and she's proven to be the one to beat... Until she came out with that dress that looked like it was ripped by Lion King on the way.
Alabama - She looks like she has prepped well over the past two weeks since she got in Bayou. She definitely impressed me with that beautiful evening gown that she wore in the official EG portrait and preliminary. I would've liked for her to change the gown though, because I have seen enough. But she looks good in that so idk....
Arizona - This mixed-raced beauty looks on point on her preliminary performance so she can secure a placement easily. I am just worried by her closed door interview though..... I didn't actually like the ukulele thing I mean could she be anymore random? :o
Ohio - Oh I love this girl and that bold choice on the EG portion. She walked like she was the ultimate Miss USA and that bought me. My concern is that 1) some hate this gown--especially the judges are coming from the pageantry background so they might find it unusual 2) She looks a bit older than her age sometimes. But regardless I would love to see her place!
TOP 5:
Maryland - This black beauty is not only gorgeous but she's talented (she competed in ANTM cycle 22) so for someone who might be winning a modelling contract, she has a clear good chance... could she break the stereotypes? She has been very consistent over the past two weeks but that gown oh my god.... can somebody lend her a gown with more bling and playful colors? That black color looks so sad and does nothing for her beautiful skin tone.
Oklahoma - She's always been my favorite until she came out with that hideous pink gown that apparently makes her look like a disney princess (?!?) Like was she tripping? She looked like Cinderella's step sister, Anastasia!!! Change the gown please! But overall she's been doing great. Could she be the next Nia who I was highly favored prior to the pageant but then disappointed by during the preliminary but ended up winning the crown? we'll have to see!
Michigan - I am just in love with everything about this girl!!!! I mean can we have another flawless red-head like her? I loved her EG just not her walk. If she could walk better in that gown, she could easily win it all. Next Audrey Bolte, maybe?
Nevada - Could there be a back-to-back this year? The chance is very high with Brittany! She slayed the EG with that BEAUTIFUL evening gown and she went up so high in my list. Her swimsuit performance was as amazing! Good luck, Brittany!
Miss USA 2015 is........ RHODE ISLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rhode Island - Anea was a clear standout since the beginning of the competition! I have never doubted that for a second and she just confirmed that with that Venezuelan twirl in the swimsuit round! My goodness.... And her interview video was so touching so I can see her represent the less privileged girls around the USA.
We'll have to see in a few hours! CANNOT FUCKING WAIT!!!!!!!!! #SaveTheSash
