Thoughts on #MISSUNIVERSE2014

Obviously this is the first time I have to wait for a long long time for the most important season of my life... More than a year!!!!! Maybe climate change has something to do with it? Ha ha ha.... Okay so obviously I am anxious everyday waiting for this season to come but I read a statement written from the organization regarding the upcoming pageant. They didn't say sorry for being super late with the deal but they kind of got away by saying that we are preparing for the best production possible bla bla bla. I know Miss Universe has always proved to be the number 1 pageant in the whole world, but let me just refresh our minds on why we <3 Miss Universe:

1. Production wise, it has been consistently good and exciting.
2. The most competitive pageant in the whole world, by having the prettiest ladies from all around the world competing.
3. The titleholder get to experience the most exciting year in comparison to the other pageant winners.
4. They always keep us updated with their trips bla bla bla.

I am super suPER SUPER excited for this year's Miss Universe because I believe that this year's delegates ARE THE STRONGEST BATCH EVER. I am not lying. There so many stunners it's almost impossible to narrow down to the exclusive semi-finalists. I really really hope that there will be a top 20 this year because many girls deserve a placement. Okay let's get to the production department:

- We need an opening dance from the girls! 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2010 was very very good.
- I loved the video of the contestants bring from their home in the Miss USA 2014 but it was ridiculously long and unnecessary. They lost the thrilling moment of anticipating for our favorites to be called. If I can suggest, they neeeeeeed to put the video at the end of the top 20 announcement.
- I really hope that Miss Universe can pick the right contestants at the semi-finalist stage. Miss Universe have been known to have super surprising semi finalists in the past, i.e. Miss Universe 2012. It was the most shocking top 16 I had to watch, and honestly it was very painful to watch. India, Russia, Turkey and Hungary at the top 16 was just beyond me. Czech Republic, Georgia, Ecuador and Puerto Rico was MILES better. They better get the semi-finalists right this year.
- The swimsuit round has to be as fast, exciting, hot like Miss Universe 2010. I think it was one of the best production in terms of swimsuit. The fast pace was very nice and I love the music background! I don't normally love those kind of songs but it was just appropriate. Them coming down the stairs was just perfecto. I love having girls coming down some stairways. And when the camera just shoot the girls frontally was just beyond perfect. You get to see their catwalks! It was super competitive!
- Best evening gown round has got to be Miss USA 2012. The background music was beyond my imagination (in a good way). The girls were very very competitive so they really made the judges run for the money. Honorable mention was Miss Universe 2010. It was simple but that John Legend singing was just expensive. It was the most elegant EG portion I have ever seen.
- Commentator need to change. Don't get me wrong, I love Jeannie Mai but it gets boring. She has been a commentator since Miss Universe 2011 to Miss USA 2012 to Miss Universe 2012 to Miss USA 2013 to Miss Universe 2013 to Miss USA 2014.... count that shit! She starts repeating the same thing over and over. "Yellow is the color of joy................". I wanna see true opinion from that gay guy CARSON KRESSLEY. It was just hilarious and fun!
- Oh stairs por favor on the EG segment!
- BEST STAGE: Miss Universe 2007. Unbeatable! Honorable mentions: Miss Universe 2005 and Miss Universe 2004.
- Have some slip-ups and dumb answers for a good ass laugh!
