Watching the Celebrity Apprentice got me reflectin'......

I have been away... yes.... BUT of course Miss Universe is still crossed in my heart in any way possible! I have been watching the celebrity apprentice S12 TWICE! For those of you guys who didn't know.... the one and only Dayana Mendoza was there and she got to top 6! how dope was that! I loved this season so much I still remember I first watched it 2 years ago back in the high school days, but I still can't get enuff of Dayana so I decided to restart watching it AGAIN!

Spoiler alert: The saga between the two decades, Lisa Lampanelli and Dayana Mendoza was definitely the recurring theme, Lisa (and that ugly one, yes, Aubrey, it's you) has been ganging up on Dayana since God knows how long!!!! and it's always very painful to see this as Dayana, a 20 something girl who had to face a foul mouthed menopause lady! I can't imagine what she had to go through and how she handled that one of a kind mouth. She has been brought back to the board room 7 times (?) she said she lost count haha because she was brought back the most time in the history of the celebrity apprentice.

In all fairness, I do think she wasn't the apprentice but that's not my point. She pushed herself to the limit to bring victory for the charity that she picked which was the Latino Commission on AIDS, she could easily just "fuck this" like what Aubrey O'Day has done (but goddamn it she came back) but she didn't. She still gives 100% every time and I applaud her for that.

However, more importantly, I was just blown away by the class act she brought to the table. When she got fired, I thought it was definitely one of the toughest to watch for all of my fellow pageant aficionados because I don't even know how many shits, fucks, whores, bitches have been thrown out to her from Lisa's mouth. but here's what: throughout the episodes, since day one, never have I found a disrespecting gesture from Dayana despite all the hatred that was directed towards her! She has remained calm and poised while handling the pressure! Even Donald Trump and Ivanka Trump said at the end that she was a quality person and that's not a statement that Ivanka or Donald Trump would easily give away. It's clear that Dayana has a way purer heart that Lisa and Aubrey has. You know how: every time someone got fired, no matter how bad the fight was, they hugged Dayana or maybe the other way around but it symbolized the respect she had for one another. On the other hand, even the guys up there don't wanna be around Lisa nor Aubrey, that kinda tells you something, no? She came here gaining friendships, fans all over the world but not Lisa nor Aubrey.

And then last night I was thinking, throughout the various Venezuelan queens I have seen over the years, they really have the been the true queens. I know I am bored watching Venezuela winning over and over again, but I guess we can see why: there is a huge difference in quality. Dayana, Stefania and Maria have been MY FAVORITE miss universes in the history. I just grow so in love watching them during their respective years because they just have respect towards others and for themselves. Many people, like Olivia, I don't know, I just don't. I just think she's a very smart and beautiful girl but she gives me that typical american girls vibe. and whoever is reading this might disagree, but who cares, it's my opinion and I say what I think. Zuleyka, Riyo, Ximena, Leila, Olivia and Paulina are undoubtedly gorgeous women but they lack that regal quality that these Venezuelan Miss Universes have. They just have all the right ingredients: intelligence, poise, beauty, regal quality yet still remain to be fun. KUDOS to Osmel Souza who have been the true national director who have taught them all a queen should possess.

Lately, Stefania wrote a very moving article on the immigrants and honestly, I don't know what the hell they all meant because most of the articles that covered the news was in Spanish, but so many people loved it and she made headlines so I'm guessing it's good.

Maria have been the queen that grew on me rapidly because of her characters. She was one hell of a queen and I said that in a good way. And she was appointed by someone to do something I really don't remember what but it was good, I remembered.

My conclusion for all of you queens out there, expected to compete in a international pageant, take many many notes from Venezuelan beauty queens bc they really do know what they're doing. Dayana, Stefania and Maria have been a wonderful representation of Venezuelan women and I wanna congratulate them that. Besos xo


PS: Dayana's style was so out of this world, she looked pretty all the time that she got Aubrey so jealous.
