Which city should host the #MISSUNIVERSE2014?

One thing I hate about Miss Universe is the event's host announcement! They talk big (thanks to Mr. Trump who always claims that there are 18 countries bidding to be the host) but always ended up in a super boring place. And the announcement is taking foreverrrrrrrrr. I just cannot wait! I check online--almost--everyday just to see if there is any official announcement yet.

But those days of waiting is behind me, now I'm just fantasizing myself where the Miss Universe 2014 will be.

Here are some possibilities that rumors have been floating around:

MIAMI, USA

It's not a bad city, but I'm tired of seeing USA as the host again. They hosted in 2006, 2010 and 2012 maybe it's time to change. I don't see any place or activities that the contestants can go to or do in Miami. But they have the ability to host a large event. 7/10

BAKU, AZERBAIJAN

I'm the most excited when it's in Azerbaijan. It's so exotic, not a lot of people know this place and it's perfect to show the world their rich culture. I'm not sure how the people are gonna react, though, it being a muslim country. I'm sure there are many things to see here, it being so unknown to so many people. I really really hope this happens. 9/10

FORTALEZA, BRAZIL

I don't really know how I feel about this place. I mean they hosted in 2011, I'm not sure if I miss Brazil that much to have it three years later. I feel like there are so so many countries in the world that can offer more than Fortaleza. 4/10

AND HERE ARE MY FANTASIES (hehe):

DUBROVNIK, CROATIA

It's time to see the all-time-romantic Mediterranean countries to host Miss Universe. They are very rich in culture and Eastern European nations celebrate beautiful women. This place have been on my list since the past 10 years, but it just has never happened. In terms of a place to host the event, I'm not quite sure myself, but there must be! They should have! hehe 10/10

LIMA, PERU

This place is so out of this world! The city is facing the Pacific ocean and it's just drop dead gorgeous. Latina women have been celebrating beauty pageant like no other and what a perfect place for this venue. I'm sure they can and will go all out on this. 9/10

XI'AN, CHINA

China is going big this past decade. There have been so many improvements we see coming from this huge powerful nation. It is not only that they are so rich, but they have a very thick tradition and culture. That is why I love places like this, because we are celebrating the multiple culture in our world. I'm 100% sure they're going huge if Miss Universe was to be held in China. And I don't mind any places in China, I just thought Xi'an has been under the radar but it's beautiful. I'm just not sure how the contestants are gonna like the fact that they block almost all social media platforms, speaking from experience. (I lived in China for half a year in 2013). 8/10

ISTANBUL, TURKEY 

This picture-perfect city is such a perfect place to host Miss Universe 2014 because this place does stand in two continents, both Europe and Asia. This place is so classic and beautiful, just perfect for the contestants to get a unique flavor of culture and tradition. This year Europe is having the strongest batch ever and what a perfect place to crown a European goddess this year. I am, though, worried that this place has a uncomfortable timing in comparison to United States, like Cyprus did in 2000. Also, I am worried that the new elected president, who is very Muslim (nothing bad) might not like this kind of pageants. 7/10
