Is tall necessary for pageants? No. Olivia Culpo won while being shorter (and probably the shortest) than the rest of the 2012 batch. But does it help? Hell YES! Look at this picture above. Massachusetts being the tallest, stands out so easily. I personally think Maine is prettier but I didn't notice her. I noticed Massachusetts first. And that is important: to stand out. Anyways doesn't Miss Maine remind you of Miss Nevada last year (Chelsea Caswell)? And Miss New Hampshire is plain. I'm sorry.

Again, Miss Nevada, the tallest in this group photo, stands out. But that face took it even further. She is soooo pretty!!! I love that sweet pink dress on her. Fits her so so well. Wisconsin looks pretty good too.

Miss Arkansas USA - She looks pretty here. Outfit is simple but nice. I do think it could've been tailored better or photograph it from a diferrent angle but whatever. In other pictures, she really reminds me of last year's Miss Louisiana, Kristen Girault. 

Love Miss Oregon's wardrobe. At least this crop top on the front! (Apparently, this shirt was made by Miss Maine, who lives in Portland, Maine)
